We alphabetized letter books. Charlie started with six books and added two at a time to put into her existing line. McKenzie started with four books and added two at a time as well. They were so excited about doing this, they did it again this evening for Daddy.
We discussed Spanish numbers one through ten, as both girls can count in Spanish to ten. We are working on which number is which (i.e. uno means one, cinco means five, etc.).
We read two story books about Christopher Robin teaching Winnie the Pooh the months of the year. They had cute poems in them, so we repeated the poems.
We viewed and discussed the differences between city and country maps. Then we zoomed into view our house, Grammy and Grampy's house, and Grandma and Grandpa's. The girls were very excited as they recognized the houses as soon as we were zoomed in.
We discussed the different types of animals and the food chain. We looked through several books to see the food chain of different areas. Charlie drew a picture of her favorite food chain.
