We discussed Punctuation and Capitalization. Mommy was trying to start easy with period, question mark, and exclamation point. Charlie said that quotation marks are punctuation as well, thus lengthening the lesson. We went over our punctuation chart and reviewed what each one is called and what they are used for.
We discussed parts of the story. When Charlie said Character, McKenzie said, "Pooh is a character."
Charlie practiced measuring, using a playing card. Mommy made her a list and Charlie went around the house measuring with her card and filling in the amount.
Both Charlie and McKenzie drew a picture of our house, as we discussed out address.
