Back to school work.
We discussed synonyms (cinnamons, according to McKenzie) and antonyms. We plowed through that. They understood it better than I expected for a day one discussion.
We reviewed our Spanish colors; red, blue, yellow, green, orange, pink, black, and white!
Charlie worked on money; what the names are, what they are worth, and adding like amounts.
We discussed holidays; the holidays we celebrate, that other families celebrate the same holidays in different ways, and that other families celebrate holidays that our family does not. We discussed that in our country you are allowed to believe in anything you want to and celebrate the way you choose to.
We discussed more about habitats and how animals adjust to their environment.
